“He Instilled Toughness” is my latest 11″ x 14″ original oil on canvas, that depicts the University of Nebraska’s legendary coach, Bob Devaney. Tom Osborne gave Coach Devaney the capsulized tribute of saying that “He Instilled Toughness”, which was one of the principle components of his success at Nebraska, bringing the NCAA National Championship to Nebraska’s football program in 1970 and 1971.
