“Oops” (36” x 48” original oil on canvas) is a painting in the Tom Ryan “Split Decision” influence, from the famous 6666 Ranch at Guthrie, Texas.  Here you see the legendary Boots O’Neal turned one way, his pretty sorrel, another way, with the two escaping calves fleeing off to their awaiting comrades.  On the rare occasion that Boots would ever miss a heal catch, you might hear his soft and gentle reply,  that was simply, “Oops”…
