“Rodeo’s Grand Daddy” (24” x 36” original oil on canvas) is a depiction of Buffalo Bill Cody, who created the events such as steer roping, which became eventually the first rodeo in America. Perhaps one of the most colorful men in the history of the American West, Buffalo Bill purchase 4,000 acres near North Platte, Nebraska, and name his ranch, “Scout’s Rest Ranch. He went on to take his Wild West Show throughout the United States and Europe, with the events in this show giving him the legacy as “Rodeo’s Grand Daddy”…
