“Standing Too Close Can Be Hazardous”…  (48” x 72” Original oil on canvas)  is my rendering of our recent trip to the Grand Canyon, depicting the nuances of light as it attaches to the various levels of cliffs and walls of this amazing United States icon.  It seemed that it was only appropriate to paint a Grand Canyon painting on a grand scale, and thus the large 4 feet by 6 feet canvas.  This not only allowed me to bring amazing detail, but also to bring to light how any time we visit this incredible national treasure, “Caution: Standing Too Close Can Be Hazardous”…
