Legacy Original Oil

Description

“Legacy” (24” x 36” original oil on canvas) is a composition that displays my Dad’s saddle that he rode for many years on our ranch.  You can see his brand painted above the cantle.  As I painted this painting, just after my Dad had passed away, I was especially moved by some of the rope burns on the cantle, that reminded me of the times we were loading bulls and cows into our trailer in my earlier years.  This painting is titled simply, “Legacy”…
